Introductory
comment from Craig Crawford, Minicoach
Tours (Scotland) Ltd : This intrepid
group of travelers from Chesapeake
Bay, Maryland devised their own
itinerary and it worked out pretty
well as there was scope to choose
and change the daily plan. A big
plus factor was that everyone
got on so well with each other
to share their experience of exploration
in the time available.
Letter from Larry McCormick
To Potential Travellers to Scotland:
My group of nine male family
members ranging in age from 16
to 75 wanted to tour Scotland.
I searched the Internet long and
hard for a motor coach and driver.
At last, I found Craig Crawford
and his deluxe motor coach. That
was our good fortune, indeed.
Craig met us at the Glasgow Airport
and we were off on a week's adventure.
Each night, we stayed in a different
town. We included Craig as a 10th
member of our group for lodging,
meals, sight-seeing and general
camaraderie.
Our financial arrangement was
a daily rate, mileage above a
generous daily allowance and all
of Craig's expenses. After dividing
our overall cost nine ways, we
all felt we had enjoyed quite
a bargain.
We toured castles, battlefields,
spectacular West Coast scenery,
historic graveyards, forts, a
distillery, a tannery and any
number of pubs. We thoroughly
enjoyed every day and met friendly
people everywhere we went.
By far and away, the most enjoyable
feature of our trip was Craig
himself.
He is a good man and a great guy.
He is very serious and skillful
in his job of chauffeuring the
motor bus, but he also knows how
to have a good time.
His sense of humor is dry and
infectious. His knowledge of Scottish
history and music is extensive
and he shares this information
in dose sizes that are enjoyable
but never boring.
Craig is retired from the Scottish
railway system and lives near
Glasgow with his wife and daughter.
His daughter Laura joined Craig
in meeting us at the airport to
ensure a smooth arrival. She is
an engineering student at Glasgow
Strathclyde University. We have
all invited Craig and his family
to come to the U.S. for a visit
to include a stay with each of
the four families. It would be
an honor and a pleasure to have
them.
I heartily and without reservation
recommend touring with Craig on
his modern, spotlessly-clean,
deluxe motor coach. If you have
any questions, my e-mail address

U.S. is 443-521-3829.
